Blackness and Leftism | Deconstructing Leftism

"Stuff Black People Don't Like" explores the malign influence of blacks, and the forces that serve their interests, in American society. "Paul Kersey" has coined the term "Black Run America" or BRA to describe this phenomenon.

SBPDL notes the fascist imagery in advertising featuring black athletes-

I posted this comment, which describes my feelings about the blog in general-

"This blog makes excellent points, but BRA wouldn't exist without the tacit assent of a big portion of whites. The truth is the qualities of official blackness- aggressiveness, deep admiration of effortless athleticism, humor with a mean vein, a casual, lackadaisical attitude toward life, a contempt for thoughtfulness, etc., are things strongly valued by a lot of whites. They are only being brainwashed that the things they appreciate have their best and highest expression in black people, which is true."

Black culture represents the worst of America- arrogance, cruelty, sadism, impulsiveness, greed, materialism, manipulation, bullying- the list is long. If you can think of something bad that doesn't involve a lot of brains, black people do it better (or worse?) than anybody else. Favoring black people means encouraging the worst human impulses.

The modern era of "civil rights" has also been the modern era of release of older social norms, social, sexual, and legal. Making black people the standard of righteousness has dragged down and coarsened society a great deal.

The problem is, it isn't only black people. There is a strong undercurrent of all these qualities among lower-class white people as well. Not nearly to the same extent, obviously, but it is there.

The sports culture, for instance. It did not originate with blacks, but with upper-class Englishmen. The English gentleman could not distinguish himself by excellence in any profession; having to work was intolerably low. Some engaged in intellectual studies, from which we get the basis of a lot of modern science. But the real way to distinguish himself was sports, which came from the need for games as a form of military training. "The Battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton", the Duke of Wellington is supposed to have said. (This is in no way true, but that's another subject.)

This deep admiration of athleticism made its way to the US. Catholic immigrants found themselves wanting to prove themselves the equal of the Protestants, so Catholic colleges started athletic programs. The era of mass entertainment began in the late 1800′s and included the sports of baseball and boxing- professional football and basketball didn't become popular until much later.

The first entry of a black man into the sports culture was heavyweight boxer Jack Johnson. He was not welcomed as a hero, far from it he was strongly hated by white fans. Segregation kept white sports fans mostly worshipping white athletes until the civil rights era. It was well established in American culture that the athlete was a kind of superman, who showed the weakness and patheticness of such higher cultural values as high-mindedness, gentleness, soft-spokeness, or good breeding. He was a raw, tough, masculine, perhaps crude representative of the life force of the masses.

The sports fans had their own logic and values used against them when the civil rights era came along. The athlete, because he won games, was a paragon of all kinds. So what if he was black? Fair is fair, isn't it? The best man wins!

Black athletes- and black people in general- simply represent the apotheosis of what a lot of white people value anyway.

The defeat of Black Run America can only start with challenging the valuation of the things that blacks represent. In the era of mass consciousness, however, that is extremely difficult.
