Design Spotlight: SF Public Works « cocoprogetto

I came across this space recently in a California Home and Design article, and was impressed, not just with the attractive industrial space, smart with design innovation, but with the space's purpose as well. "Public Works provides artists no-cost studio space and residencies as well as a gallery for rotating art shows and a portion of the earnings go to non-profit organizations in the area." It also houses the SF Underground Market  (read about this!) and some other really cool events.

A sense of responsible community cohesiveness and well being, possible because a space was created for it to thrive. This is why I love this stuff.

Happy Friday (the 13th!) my dear friends. Have a great weekend. xo, coco
