Oh please, get off your PC high horse for a second and come back to reality. Yeah, no one should get beat up and bullied. I'd also love for the world to be filled with rainbows and unicorns all the time too. However, if I walk around drunk in a bad part of town flashing a suitcase full of cash, well I shouldn't be shocked that I get robbed. I know people don't like to take personal responsibility for their actions these days and everyone's ready to sue someone else because nothing is ever their fault. But most reasonable people should realize that being drunk in the ghetto as a transgendered guy isn't the brightest idea.

The debt stands at $23,300 per US Citizen. So in my LIFETIME, the government has amassed debt of about $100,000 for my family of four. In the past five years, one tenth of my lifetime, the 401K at my latest employeer stands at over $200,000 (after the significant drop of the past few months).

They are the ones that will find themselves in a world of hurt when the wells run dry. The US has huge untapped natural resources (coal and oil). Europe needs to man up and take care of their mess. Sadly there are far too many Chamberlain's in Europe.

I think (most) of us are prejudiced about Intel graphics. When I saw the Intel HD 3000 graphics in the new 13" MBPs, I first thought of the X3100 in my first Late 2007 white MacBook and how much it sucked. Intel's track record with integrated graphics isn't great, but it's improving over time. A lot has changed since those X3100 times.
However, both the NVIDIA 320M and SB Intel graphics are an upgrade to my current 15" MBP's NVIDIA 9400M. I seldom switch to the discrete and I plan on buying a MBA this summer. So for me, either graphics will be an upgrade over the one I currently use.
As long as it's better/faster than my current, the new Core iX CPUs are worth waiting for. Intel IGP isn't better than the NVIDIA 320M but the processor is a lot faster/better. So the slight tradeoff in graphics performance isn't too bad. The Intel HD 3000 is on par with the current graphics. I've looked at Anandtech, Macworld and a whole bunch of other benchmarks. Intel IGP either performs slightly worse or slightly better than the NVIDIA 320M.

Lol ok buddy. Hope your not waiting for there to be a backlit keyboard in the air because I doubt there will be. Apple took it out of the MBA for a reason not for the heck of it

Here are some other reasons: a 2 kg mbp 13 is a little bit too heavy for me as i need to travel around with a notebook to process my photos. 2 years ago i sold my t61 and replaced it with a x61 because t61 is too heavy and the cdrom is really useless to me. so when i got that the 2011 new mbp is equipped with a superdrive, i was really disappointed.

With AT&T being the cell phone carrier that charges the most, they should be EXPECTED to provide the best quality service in the industry. If AT&T thinks 30% of all calls being dropped is "normal," this is absolutely unacceptable! So this means that of every ten phone calls to 911, 3 being dropped is "normal" and acceptable????? And major corporations with thousands of employees are supposed to sign up for cell service with AT&T, knowing that 30% of all calls (with customers) being dropped is, in AT&T's eyes, acceptable???????? :eek: :eek: :eek:

And the 30% is for the NYC metro area, which is has about 20 million other people within a few blocks making calls on their cells too, which creates quite a bit of confusion, signal wise. And lets not forget the buildings, and their makeup of steel/iron frames. And then all the WiFi signal that is being broadcasted around.
SO yeah there is quite a bit of a hurdle there, but what is even more interesting is what is Verizon, T-Mobile, etc acceptable rate of dropped calls for NYC area? Do you think any lower? Maybe next time you should think before you overreact, and then just not saying anything if it's anything like this?

I'm starting to think this rumor may be true. And its actually not a bad thing, My iPhone 4 is working great right now, it's plenty fast and looks awesome. Waiting a couple more months wouldnt be a bad thing. I usually wait a month after new releases anyway for demands and lines to die down.

To be correct - it wasn't so much the quarterly earnings but the outlook. There is a huge concern in the market that the US economy is not only slowing down but heading towards a regression.
What is everybodys guess ? How deep will they fall ? Below $108 ? Below $125 ? I already have some and want to buy more. Its always nice to hit the low point.

Microsoft has waited WAY too long to make any type of impact on the portable music device industry. iPod has been around now for too long, and has too strong of a grip on the marketshare for anyone to try to threaten their hold. This Zune thing will have to have some aspect to it that is totally it's own for anyone to take any notice to it whatsoever.

Some people are lying themselves. Of course every high-end laptop will be like the MBA in few-several years. That is the point, getting slimmer, portable and more and more powerful. That's the ideal laptop.
So a MBA with better GPU/CPU is always welcomed.
