Star Wars Celebration V drew thousands of fans from all over the world to Orlando over the weekend. The August 12-15 event marked the ‘Star Wars’ mania among the cavorting men. It also showed that the pop culture still loved the George Lucas mythology that created impressions through decades.Star Wars was first made into a film in 1977. Then came the ‘Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope’ in 1981 as the fourth sequel in a six-movie series. The tale was about the Death Star. The Star Wars film series has spawned other media including books, television series, video games, and comic books. Star Wars gained fame as the book titled "Lego Star Wars" was on the New York Times bestseller list for 33 weeks. It is the third-highest-grossing film series, behind only the James Bond and Harry Potter movies. Star Wars Celebration V was the gathering of all of the movie stuff, merchandise, actors and serious fandom who docked to Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando to show their love for the ‘Star Wars’.
